Gregsmyname Did It! SV Dam Blunt Tresoutta.
Yeah, yeah; I know tresouttas are nothing special anymore, but I told a lot of people (except this person, unless he found out somehow through someone I told) that I would give the first person to blunt tresoutta the SV Dam lip, a free 1-month XBox Live trial code. But what makes it even better, is that this person lives in the same city as me! How ironic, a fellow San Antonian, doing a blunt tresoutta, on the SV Dam- unknowingly earning himself props (from me, at least) and a free month of XBox Live =)

An update
I haven't been on much this week, but I had good this reason this time.
My dad had a stroke last Thursday, and had to have brain surgery, so I've been in and out of the hospital since then.
However, he's fine now, and is on his way to a full recovery.
I realize this was a random post, lacking any detail whatsoever, but you guys are my teammates, so I figured I would let you know what was going down in Quinn's world.

The sick box
Ok, so some of you might now, some may not.. I'm in Colorado visiting family right now and will be back some time late this upcoming weekend.
In the meantime, even though I brought my xbox with me, you may not see me much online other than playing Arcade games or just using the dashboard for messenger.
This is because my xbox has started to say "fuck you" and has started overheating quite frequently. I think its a broken internal fan. I can try to play a game and maybe after 20-30 minutes (if im that lucky) itll automatically shut off and give me 2 flashing red rings (which, according to M$ = "the console has reached an unsafe temperature). so this is no red ring of death, but its preventing me from playing skate and RE5. intercooler wont work either and my warranty is way past expired so there's only 2 options for me. 1) Pay M$ $99 plus whatever it would cost in shipping to "repair" my box, with them likely just sending me a refurbished console back OR 2) for just $200 buy a bare-bones console (since i have everything else already) new and be done with the issue.

I took apart my xbox and cleaned as much of the inside as possible. Got rid of a LOT of dust and other dirty debris inside the case and fans, as well as on the processor. Checked to make sure both fans were working (they are). After putting the now-clean xbox back together, everythings working fine for now. No overheats as of Tuesday

I love dp gets very good feedback, heres the opening part of the latest Cuz-blog:
Longestplay
It's time to celebrate an epic..."I Heart DP" by DP (duh!). The beginning is usually a good place to start so let's start there by saying it was awesome with a capital "awe". It had elements of the old Anti-social video transfer to the next skater, the skating was solid montage stuff, but the capper came when it transitioned to how they introduced each skater's part. Check it for that alone. There were too many skaters to really go throw praise at each (I'm rambly enough as it is) but I do have to say I really liked TNO's part. Smooth, original skating with an appropriate amount of "street life" to keep it fresh. The vid is truly a long play clocking in at around 19 minutes, but I never grew bored. And...as is the case with many of my favorite real skate vids, the throw-away oddities section at the end left me with the best impression possible - sick skating, quality filming, a solid thematic thread, and...it was fun. Alright all you other teams...the team video bar has been set. YouTube and copyright, part meeh
Please check your parts songs on youtube... i recently uploaded a testclip with a still and the song i wanted to use for my random clips (posted below), and the song stayed, its still up, btw, but when uploading my final part, the fukker gets muted... same filetype, same render, same fukking song! so who knows how this shitsite operates, but apparently its pretty random.
so, please do what you can to make sure your song is ok.
(uploading the final movie to discover it gets muted its basically a FAIL)

So, about the video - and other stuff
I guess if Stevland can't get a hold of Sascha (tno) .. then I will have to try to film my own stuff, which no one ever likes- so my part will suck at best. Hopefully tno will get the footage over to eflixxx- 'cause he did a good job with the editing and such.
On another note.. why?!
I want DP to be more than just a "skate." team. I mean, it is- we are a family of sorts, we're good friends, we know each others' personal lives somewhat. But we need to all make sacrifices and play games we wouldn't normally play so we can branch off and keep skate. fresh you know? .. Something like that-- I don't know-- I guess it's just me. And no, i'm not the least bit bored with skate. Shit, I could still play skate. 1 and have a blast (cough online replay editor cough).

QvQ Round 2
Ok, so Doc and I have decided to play a real life game of skate online. This starts Monday.
Here are our rules:
1. Berrics rules - this means no hands or feet on the ground when doing the trick
2. Skater has 24 hours from the posting time of the first trick to copy and re-post as a private video on youtube, in response to the set trick.
3. Trick setters are alternated after each trick. Doc is giving me first go, so after my set trick is copied or time expires, it is Doc's turn to set one.
4. Video quality doesn't matter. As long as the skater involved is in the clip and doing the trick, we could give a shit less if there's awesome resolution or great sound quality, (insert random video complaint here), etc.
5. Multiple tricks can be done in 1 day. Ex: If Doc copies my trick, he can immediately post his set trick and then the 24 hour clock starts again from that point with that trick. In theory, we could essentially play a whole game in a day if we posted fast enough.
6. Tight pants not allowed
Starts Monday when I post the trick on private youtube. Let's do this! I leave you all with some "courage wolf"

PC is on the wall (obviously). mouse on the armrest, keyboard always next to me. i sit where the blue pillow is. i should have cleaned up, but, oh well, pistachios all over the place. i'm the perfect american, everything in reach from one place :)

My formal apology
I was reading the post about noodles, and it made me want to post my formal apology to the team.
I realize Ive been a huge issue with this video, and Ive been a shitty teammate/friend as of late.
I feel like a complete ass, because you guys are some of my best friends, as corny as that sounds.
Ive been kinda lettin' everyone down in terms of reliability.
But I'm here to say, I'm picking up the pace, because DP means A LOT to me.
I still might not be on skate every hour of the day, but i will be MUCH more than now, because i want to contribute to the team more than I am right now.
Thanks again you guys, for putting up with my bs through this past month.
P.S. Sorry noodles, I still hope me and you can skate in real life soon.

We should do some sort of tribute to sknoodler in the new video-- with his skate. Reel clips-- and whatever clips I have saved of him from skate. 1. I'm sorry sknoodler =( -- I'll always wuv you. Not up to me who's on the team though...
