there was this thread on the official xbox.com forums. contest of some sorts. doesn't really matter. here are some custom levels for Trials HD. pretty amazing what you can do with the track editor. i'm way too lazy and uncreative though. and the problem is, you have to befriend those cats to actually be able to play the levels. hope they change this with a patch or something.

EDIT: in one of the levels you can clearly see why it's friendslist only. there's a big, fucking swastika on the wall. great how morons ruin it for everyone else.

i won the cinema mania contest.
stuman run this contest over at fluckit. 10 people would submit 2 clips each. everyone would make a video out of those clips. (skate reel, 100% speed only). it was allowed to film some more shots, as long as it didn't contain skating. jugding would be 75% editing, 25% filming. judges are stuman and some people i don't know.

we ended up with 9 people

oh my god, that was hard. took me about 2 to 3 hours all together. one major tip though for the / / obstacle. (the pic i posted yesterday) lean forward BEFORE you hit the slope.

well, gentlemen, i have some bad/good new, depending on whos reading i guess.. im leaving doppelgänger produktion. im not going far tho, just down the block, to the hoodlumcamp.. building 54, on the psychonaut floor. i love dp, but i think its time to try something diffrent, get vitalised so to speak. getting inspiration and will to make videos have diminished pretty hard this summer, so i hope and think this will serve as a productive move on my part.

i feel sorry for leaving you stevland the most, you are a very close friend, and i hope we still are.

good news everyone

well, "good".

some of you may have read that with the upcoming dashboard update, installed games on the harddrive will be smaller in size. since i have the update already (signed up for the trial) i tested it with skate 2. and, tadaaaaaaah, it's 6.3 GB instead of 6.6 GB.
oh well, maybe interesting for the guys who still rock the 20 GB harddrives.

from what i've read it's more significant for other games, and i guess when you have a lot of games installed it eventually will make a difference.
